Trailers of the Week: Edition 1

These days everyone is more interested in trailers than the movie. Every film studio is trying to grab their viewers’ attention and pique their curiosity. It's one of the crucial parts of marketing. So, M Movie Reviews have brought some of the latest trailers so that you can decide your "What to Watch Next". Here we go...


1. State of Siege: 26/11

State of Siege: 26/11, a gripping ZEE5 Original series centered around the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks which were carried out by members of the Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba. The crime thriller throws light on the lesser-known facts and the challenges faced by NSG commandos during the rescue operation. The show is based on Sandeep Unnithan’s book Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11.

2. Westworld (Season 3 )

HBO's mind-bending sci-fi drama Westworld is back with Season 3 on March 15th, 2020. Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) is the newcomer to the show. Thandie Newton, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, and Ed Harris reprises their respective roles. Are you ready? You should because it's "Your World".

3.  Candyman

A fresh take on the blood-chilling urban legend: Candyman. Trailer is scary, creepy and breathtaking. Can you say his name 5 times?

4. The Letter for the King


16-year-old aspiring knight Tiuri finds himself on a perilous mission to deliver a secret letter to the King who lives across the Great Mountains. The future of the entire Kingdom depends on this letter. The Letter for the King premieres March 20, only on Netflix.

5. Go Karts


Netflix has unveiled a new official trailer for the Australian coming-of-age racing movie originally known as Go!. They have since re-titled it to Go Karts. The trailer doesn't seem very interesting but let's see how the audience responds to this.

6. Rumble

In a world where monsters are popular wrestling superstars, one unlikely champion is stepping into the ring. Trailer is funny and enjoyable. The movie is the directorial debut of Hamish Grieve, known best for his work on animated blockbusters such as Shrek 2 and Monsters Vs. Aliens. It could turn out to be a surprise hit.

7.  Guilty

A young woman from a small town accuses the college heartthrob of sexual assault. Guilty is Netflix India's new suspense thriller. Everything is confusing and everyone is hiding. Everyone looks "Guilty".

8. Tales from the Loop

According to Amazon Prime, Tales from the Loop explores the mind-bending adventures of the people who live above the Loop, a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things previously relegated to science fiction, possible.

9.  The Test

The Test: A New Era for Australia’s Team gives intense, behind-the-scenes access to Australia’s cricket team, It gives viewers an inside look into the highs and lows of the long road back in the team’s fight to regain the respect of world cricket.

10. The Postcard Killings

Jacob Kanon’s (Jeffery Dean Morgan) world is destroyed when his daughter and son-in-law are brutally murdered in London. As he learns of similar heinous murders happening across Europe - each preceded by a postcard sent to a local journalist - Jacob is in a race against time to stop the killings and find justice for his little girl.

11. Saint Maud


According to IMDb, A24's Saint Maud follows a pious nurse who becomes dangerously obsessed with saving the soul of her dying patient. From writer/director Rose Glass and starring Morfydd Clark and Jennifer Ehle, Saint Maud is releasing nationwide on April 3, 2020.

12. Fatima


When a 10-year-old girl and her cousins start seeing visions of Mother Virgin Mary, her family, and govt. officials try to silence them. It's the story of faith and belief in god. In theaters, April 24.

13. Emperor


Although it's been 10 days, since the trailer got released, it's still worth seeing. In 2019, we witnessed the story of incredible Harriet Tubman. Now it's time to know about the Emperor.
According to Briarcliff Entertainment, Emperor is inspired by the legend of Shields “Emperor” Green, a descendant of African kings turned outlaw slave in the pre-Civil War South.  Seeking freedom for his family, Emperor fights his way north, joining the daring raid on Harper’s Ferry and help alter the course of American history.
