Penguins (2019) is Disneynature's documentary about an Adélie penguin named Steve. It is directed by Alastair Fothergill and is narrated by Ed Helms.
Steve is an innocent Adélie penguin who is going to celebrate his first year as an adult with his fellow penguins in Antarctica. He is cute, passionate and hardworking. Like every other penguin, Steve also travels to the place where he was born and it's his time to become a father. But it's not going to be easy for him in any way.
The documentary presents his journey from making the nest to teach his children the basics of survival. Documentary also shows the deadly elements of nature like large killer whales, leopard seals, egg-stealing birds and the extreme weather conditions of Antarctica. But there is nothing which can stop our beloved Steve. Parenting is not an easy task. There are many difficulties that are shown which we could only imagine. This documentary shows three stages of Steve's life which are as a bachelor, then as a partner and at last as a father.
Ed Helms energetically narrates the story and keeps on making us laugh at regular intervals. There are some Humans like dialogues too to establish a relationship between Steve and the audience.

Although the Documentary never discuss Global Warming but it makes us think of the effect of that on such a beautiful and lovely creature. That's the reason this Documentary was released near Earth Day.
Everyone should watch this documentary as these adorable creatures deserve that. In the end, you will fall in love with Steve for sure. It increases your knowledge about penguins, the difficulties faced by them, their bonding with their partners and much more. What else do you want from a documentary?
