Dabangg 3 is a 2019 action-comedy film and a sequel to Dabangg(2010) and Dabangg 2 (2012), making the Dabangg franchise a trilogy.
When in 2010 Dabangg came to the theatres it was fun to watch a badass cop Chulbul Pandey(Salman) a.k.a  Robin-hood Pandey. It's one-liners, funny dialogues, over the top action sequences with comic touch and Pandey's chulbula andaaz(Flirtatious style) was very entertaining. It was something new and fresh for the audience. Dabangg 2 maintains the same tone and style of Dabangg without taking any risk and was entertaining too.
Now after 7 years, Dabangg 3 offers you the back story of our beloved Cop Chulbul Pandey. How he became a police officer? Why he's called "Chulbul Pandey"? It also reveals the reason for a unique style of wearing Specs? After beating the asses of goons in Lal Gunj and Kanpur, Pandey is now posted to Tundla. Here he comes face to face to his old-time enemy Bali Singh(Sudeep). No need to mention what is going to happen next. That's the summary of the movie.
Dabangg 3 doesn't offer anything new but also fails to give the pleasure the previous two films provided. Many scenes were copied from the Dabangg(2010) itself.
The story is pathetic. Music is unbearable. Dialogues are cringe. The only thing that remained intact in all three films is Salman Bhai's Dabanggai. The movie is too long and could have been reduced by at least an hour. In every  10-15 min, Salman takes an entry in slow motion.
We remember Dabangg for its hilarious dialogues and fresh punch lines, but Dabangg 3 not only copies those dialogues but also diminishes their value. There are dialogues like ‘Woh Padhaai Karegi, Aur Hum Uski Rakhwali’. What???? Really??? There was literally only one dialogue which I loved "Hum Usi Ko Thokate Hai, Jo Jarurat Se Jyada Bhokte he".
This is Saiee Manjrekar's debut film. She has done a nice job in a little screen time given. Most of the time we only see Salman on screen. There is zero character development and the side characters are jobless in this movie. There was no need for Sonakshi's character Rajjo. As compared to Dabangg 1&2, the other Policemen also don't have anything to do in this movie. Well, what one can expect if the lead actor is going to write the story.
Director Prabhu Deva had established himself as one of Salman's favorite. He will direct whatever and however, Salman wants, without applying any brain.
Music is given by Sajid-Wajid who also gave music for Dabangg and Dabangg 2 fails to impress this time. We still love the songs of Dabangg but Dabangg 3's songs are trash. The only song we remember is ''Munna Badnam Hua", written by Danish Sabri which is a male version of "Munni Badnam Hui" from Dabangg. Badshah, Kamaal Khan, and Mamta Sharma have given their voice to the song.
Overall you can wait for Dabangg 3, till the time it comes to some online streaming platform. Watching it in theatres is a waste of money. You can enjoy it only and only if you are a diehard fan of Salman or if you haven't seen the previous two films. Instead, you can watch Dabangg(2010), you will definitely enjoy that more than this. If you think I missed anything, feel free to tell me in the comments.
